How to subtract areas while calculating

1. While a combined area is displayed, enter  S (Subtract).
2. Use one of the following methods:
   • Specify points to define the area to be subtracted and press ENTER, or else
   • Enter O (Object) and select the objects to be subtracted. .

   The running total will be updated as new areas are defined.

3. Press ENTER To end the command.
