How to approximates a polyline converting arcs and segments to N segments all with the same length    

1. Click on the menu Modify  Polylines operations...  Polyline: approximate to N segments (all with the same length) 
2. Select the objects to be converted, then press ENTER.
3. Specify the Number of segments
4. Press ENTER.

A message will display the result of the operation.

Here is an example of a polyline formed by 1 segment and 1 arc

and the result of this command which produced a polyline  of 19 segments.
