How to turn the Snap mode on and set the snap spacing

1. Click on the Tools menu Snaps Snaps Manager .
   
2. In the Grid Snap panel, tick Enable grid snap.
3. Select Show grid to display the grid .
4. In the lower area, select Rectangular Snap or   Isometric Snap.
5. In the X Spacing box, enter the horizontal snap spacing value in units
6. To specify the same vertical snap spacing value, select Isometric Snap.Otherwise, enter a new distance in the Y Spacing box.
7. Click on OK.
